It's a scientific fact that there are two kinds of people in the world. That's those who think there are cat and dog people, and those who don't. We're just going to focus on that first ones for now. Dogs and cats have been at our sides for years. Research has shown it's possible dogs were domesticated 20,000 years ago, possibly as far back as 40,000 years. Do you have any idea how many belly rubs there must have been between now and then? Cats were first domesticated around 4,000 years ago, but there's evidence that they were smart enough to be hanging around humans for food and shelter for nearly twice as long. It's safe to say our four-legged friends have been with us for a heck of a long time.
Cats and dogs are a part of who we are and that's kind of awesome. Some people do tend to lean one way or the other, though. Each species has its own benefits and perks for a pet owner, something that really makes you bond that much more closely than you would with a different animal. If you answer a few simple questions about yourself, how you think, what you like, we can guess just which furry friend is the one for you. Take the quiz, it'll be petacular!
