About This Quiz

"Life skills" are all the things that you're not necessarily going to learn in school. They can include some really mundane tasks like how to sew on a button, how to run a household budget or how to vacuum a floor properly. They also include more human-oriented tasks like how to sit nicely at the table for dinner, use your cutlery correctly, and say "please" and "thank you" as appropriate; basic social skills that keep the wheels of society greased.

Generally speaking, if you live in a developed society, all of the skills above are absolutely pivotal to being a functioning member of society. You don't have to be brilliant at them, but do you have to know that they exist, that they matter, and that getting them wrong can hurt you or someone else. However, there are life skills that are extremely location-specific. These might include surviving a specific climate, or learning how to avoid a certain sort of person, plant, or animal. They might help you to survive an earthquake or a hurricane, or how to have fun on a budget in an expensive area. They might let you fit into a community, or keep a farm fertile and prosperous.

This latter group are the ones we want to know about - and if you tell us about the ones you have, we'll figure out where you most likely learned them in the first place!
