It's not hard to see why people put stock in the idea of the zodiac. Humans have been charting the path of the stars for an incredibly long time. There's some evidence that suggests we've been doing it for over 17,000 years. There's a cave in the South of France that may show some star clusters. So many ancient societies from the Greeks to the Romans to the Mayans to the Babylonians were all fascinated by the stars and how they traveled the night sky. This lead to the creation of the zodiac and astrology as our ancestors sought to find meaning with what the Heavens meant for us here on Earth.
The thing about the zodiac constellations and astrology is that they don't line up the way you might think they do. In fact, since the zodiac constellations were first settled on over 2,000 years ago, the wobble of the Earth has moved up nearly a whole month out of alignment with how things were first observed. So the stars as we see them and the charts as they were written don't even match up anymore! But that doesn't change the fact that there's a lot of mystery in the universe and feeling like there's something bigger than yourself out there is pretty enticing. If you tell us a bit about yourself, we can use that information to figure out under what constellation you were born. Just take the quiz and see!
