While you could find ice cream anywhere in the modern world, in the past, it was quite the royal treat. Although the exact origins are unknown, according to the International Dairy Foods Association, ice cream was first introduced by the French. While its origins don't take place in the country, it was brought over by Queen Catherine de Medici, a native of Italy. While it was called "cream ice" for some time, ice cream would finally be introduced to the public during the mid-17th century.

Since this time, countless ice cream flavors have appeared. Many people are familiar with the white, pink, and brown coloring of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream, respectively. Tons of other special flavors have been created and loved. Can you identify them all?

Could you tell the difference between the green creams of mint chocolate chip and pistachio? When it comes to chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies n' cream, could you spot the change?
