About This Quiz

A catchphrase is a type of phrase or expression that is easily recognizable and has been repeated over and over by many different people. Some of these phrases stem from things that we have heard politicians, celebrities and people in the public eye saying, as well as ones we have heard in movies and television series.

The 1980s was one of the most popular decades when it comes to television and it was also one of those decades which many of the most popular catchphrases came from. These phrases have been said so often, that they are still being said today.

Catchphrases that you may know include "Lucy, you got some 'splaining to do," "Whatchoo talkin' bout Willis?", "You're in big trouble mister," "Cut that jibe Jabba" and "I brought you into this world and I'll take you out."

If you were given some of these catchphrases, would you be able to identify who said or which show it came from? In this quiz, you'll be given a series of catchphrases, some of which you will know and others which you may have never heard. Will you be able to get at least 80% of them correct? Take this quiz to find out!
