About This Quiz

What is...the greatest quiz ever? The answer would definitely be this quiz! Game shows are a common sight to see on television. Whether the contestants are spinning a wheel or singing to a crowd, the shows are certain to get millions of viewers, including you! From fan favorites of Jeopardy to singing competitions like American Idol, can you name each game show from a simple question?

Game shows have certainly come a long way. The very first game show to debut on TV was a simple concept. Spelling Bee debuted in 1938 before being followed by Truth or Consequences. These would grow to include The $64,000 Question of the 1950s and What's My Line of the '60s.

Game shows would grow to have a common theme. The contestants would test their knowledge for a certain amount of money. This theme can be seen in Jeopardy and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? While game shows were heavily centered around general knowledge, they would grow to include competitive shows that would test the talents of their contestants. These might include America's Got Talent, Last Comic Standing, and Dancing with the Stars

As if talents weren't enough, there are tons of shows that turn love into a competition like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. It's clear that any concept can be turned into a game show. From spinning the wheel in Wheel of Fortune to eating a cockroach in Fear Factor, can you name each of these game shows from a simple question? Let's find out!
