Fairy tales are a form of folklore which typically feature mythical and/or imaginary creatures and people in a fictional world where good typically prevails over evil and where most characters have a happy ending. One of the companies which is famous for bringing these tales to life is Disney. Many kids don't even know the fairy tales have origins beyond the Disney versions!

Many of Disney's animated movies were based on fairy tales, some of them being the company's most successful films. These include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and The Princess and the Frog originally written by the Brothers Grimm, The Little Mermaid and Frozen by Hans Christian Andersen, Beauty, and the Beast by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, and Mulan, the traditional story of Hua Mulan.
