The Harry Potter series is both a fantasy book and movie series about a young wizard and his journey in taking down the dark wizard, Lord Voldemort. The first book, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was released in 1997 and since then six other books were released. To date, the Harry Potter series is the best selling book series in history, and by 2003, the author had a higher net worth than the Queen of England.
The series follows young Harry, who before his 2nd birthday, was destined for greatness and the events that occurred at such a young age would set him on a path to saving the world. He and his best friends (Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger) from the time that they met in their first year at wizarding school encountered many twists, turns, highs and lows that would lead them to take down the dark lord.
It took Harry and his friends almost seven years and many casualties to defeat Lord Voldemort and his followers, but can you do it in just one? Tell us what it would be like if you spent a year at Hogwarts and we'll let you know if you will succeed or if you will meet your demise while trying.
