About This Quiz

For a majority of people, members of the feline family look pretty much the same from one cat to the next. But perhaps for you, you know every nuance of a kitty, from its breed to its mannerisms.  This may be because, unlike dogs, differences between cat breeds are minute. It's fairly easy to tell the difference between a golden retriever and a toy poodle, however, it may be difficult to differentiate between an Abyssinian and a Siamese.  With cats, many differences in breeds can be distinguished by coat type, tail length, ear and eye shape, and when it comes to size, the differences are in inches, not feet.

When it comes to behavior, cats tend to cover the spectrum.  While sleeping is still a favorite activity, some cats retain that kitten-like wonderment and some can even be trained like dogs, including being walked on a leash.  One breed of cat (the Turkish van) shares a trait with many of the retrievers: they aren't afraid of and even enjoy the water.  And just like some people, there are some cats that are more extroverted than others.  When visitors arrive, these social fur babies will make an appearance and welcome them to their homes and in some cases, interact with them.

So with all of these wonderful different breeds, have you ever wondered what combination of cat you'd be?  You're in luck, we've designed a quiz just for you!
