About This Quiz

Society has been elevating stories of creatures for thousands of years.

In Ancient Egypt, the concept of the griffin dates back to around 3000 B.C. The creature is said to be a lion with the wings of an eagle. Later in history, the Greeks popularized the centaur, a creature with the upper body of a man and the lower body of a horse. Centaurs have been used in popular tales for centuries since, and even in a few deodorant commercials.

Modern creatures were sometimes designed to be more aloof to add to their mystery. The Loch Ness Monster is said to be a creature inhabiting Loch Ness, the largest lake by volume in the British Isles. Some believe it is the last of a dinosaur species that was thought to be extinct long ago.

Of course, other creatures get along with people and live among ordinary citizens. Werewolves are a great example of this. Other than on days with a full moon, they are regular folks who can even attend high school, as Michael J. Fox showed us in the classic '80s film "Teen Wolf."

The most important question is, which creature are you? Finish this quiz, and at the end, we'll match you to one of the famous creatures in history.
