Artists have existed for thousands of years across the globe, working to portray human emotion in visual form. Some of these pieces have become incredibly famous, and others that are being created now will only be famous long after we are gone from this earth. 

Art is personal, open to interpretation, and what the artist originally intended can get lost over time or be immortal.
