About This Quiz

In Gary Chapman's 1995 book, "The Five Love Languages," he suggests that there are ways we communicate and receive love. The five basic languages he stresses are words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, physical touch, and acts of service. You might think you know which of the love languages the people around you speak, but which one are you?

The way you communicate your love depends on a lot of factors. From nature to nurture to the human experience, we learn the ways we express our feeling from the world around us. As we go through this quiz, we will touch on your past relationships, your personality, and the type of lifestyle you are most comfortable living.

After we get to know the ways you give, receive, affirm, and sparkle from the heart, we'll be able to tell you which of Chapman's five love languages represents you and your inner spirit the best. Try to answer our questions with complete honesty, and remember that all is fair in love and war. There are no wrong answers during this quiz!

Share your thoughts about love, family, and relationships with us. Then, we'll tell you which of the love languages you best represent. Let's find out exactly which one you are.
