What Musical Genre or Style Are You? Quiz
by Teresa M.

The rhythm is gonna get you! The rhythm is gonna get you! It certainly will with this quiz! When it comes to music, it often speaks to our soul! From all the genres in the world, like classical, hip-hop, pop, country and more, which musical genre are you?

If we tried to write a timeline for music, a lot of it would be a blur in earlier years, but we could definitely start with the classical composers. Men like Beethoven, Mozart and Bach are synonymous with the music of the 1700s. In the late 1800s, jazz was born, while country music would later appear in the 1920s. Pop music was coined in the 1950s, and hip-hop got its start in 1973 in New York City. Among all these genres and styles of music, which one speaks most to you?

If you're determined and ambitious, you're probably classical music! As an appreciator of the finer things in life, a few difficult songs aren't going to stop you!

For the cool and laid back, you're probably vibing to hip-hop music. While its history is short, compared to a lot of other genres, it's made a mark for listeners everywhere!

Are you bold and unique, like the 1970s creation, punk rock, or are you happy and upbeat, like pop music? Everyone has different sides to their personality, but aren't you curious to know which musical genre speaks most to you? Let's find out!

As Madonna would sing, "Music makes the people come together!"
