Referred to by many as the golden era of television, the 1980s offered people who watched television more options as new cable channels were being created and there was something for everyone to watch. As for the show being aired, there was a fair share of hour-long drams, short sitcoms, action-packed detective shows and prime-time soap operas.
Some of the most memorable shows include "Cheers," "Magnum P.I.," "The Golden Girls," "Miami Vice," "The Cosby Show," "The Dukes of Hazzard," "Full House," "Knight Rider," "Growing Pains," "Roseanne," and "21 Jump Street." These are the shows that many people grew up watching not just because of the storyline or catchy theme songs, but also because of the star-studded cast, many of whom were easy on the eyes.
Many of these actors must be nearing their 60s, 70s, and 80s, and although quite a few of them a still good looking considering their age, in their prime, some of these stars looked like they could be Greek gods.
