While making the decision to join the military might seem like a really hard thing to do, that is actually the easy part. Once you have decided to sign up, you have to make the decision about what branch to join, whether it be the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Marines or the Coast Guard.

A lot of people choose the Army because of its proud tradition and because there are so many different types of jobs you can have while serving. Some people want to join the Air Force because of the lure of flying and all of the good job available in technology. Some want to travel the world while on the high seas, so they choose the Navy, while other people who yearn to be out on the water want to stay a bit closer to home and maybe help save people who are in danger out on on the high seas so they pick the Coast Guard.
