About This Quiz

The FIFA Women's World Cup has only existed since 1991 if you can believe that, while the men's game has been around since 1930. Did it take women 60 years to discover soccer? Not by a long shot. But it took the rest of the world that long to realize that women were playing on the same level or better than men and providing intense competition, incredible skill and some remarkable talent that was worthy of praise. It's been a long road, but women are finally getting to share the spotlight with men and proving that they're as good at this game as anyone, and there are definitely some players who have become standouts of the game.

Players like Megan Rapinoe are capturing the imagination of a whole new generation of fans, while Mia Hamm and Marta and others have cemented their legacies as the towering forces of the sport that are serving as inspirations to others. People still don't appreciate how popular this game really is. In 2015, the Women's World Cup Final had 23 million viewers. That was bigger than the Stanley Cup or the NBA finals. In 2019, 59 million people watched Brazil against France.  The game is huge and so is the talent. But which legendary player is most closely matched up with you? Take the quiz and let's find out!
