Throughout our entire education, we have all had a teacher who we looked forward to being in their classrooms, and because of that, we performed very well in that class. For some reason or another, we related to them, looked up to them and some of us even wanted to be like them when we got older.

Just like many of the teachers that can be found in our local schools, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry also has their own selection of teachers and granted that is an entirely different curriculum, their responsibilities to educate and mentor students remained the same.

Some of the schools most memorable professors included Minerva McGonagall who taught Transfiguration, Filius Flitwick who taught Charms, Rubeus Hagrid who taught Care of Magical Creatures, Pomona Sprout who taught Herbology, and Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Alastor Moody, Quirinus Quirrell and Dolores Umbridge, all of whom have taught Defense Against the Dark Arts.
