Myths date back for thousands of years all over the world. Gods and goddesses captured our imaginations with their daring acts and magical abilities. When you were in their good books, they helped you—if not, you paid the price! The magical beasts in mythology have captured our attention, too. Their feats have made us gasp! Noble creatures like Pegasus and griffins had their adventures and helped humans along the way. Fearsome mythical creatures like Medusa and the Cyclops were terrors heroes had to defeat. Some of these beasts were monsters, but others were gentle and became allies to people. 

Which creatures were your favorite? Was it the beautiful Pegasus or the stoic Centaur? Were you enthralled with giants, with their towering statures and fearsome ways?
