About This Quiz

You may be used to rocking all black, when really you look your best in shades of red. Or perhaps you've been called a "purple person" and are wondering why? Whatever your personal style may be, there's a chance your wardrobe colors are actually clashing with your natural beauty.

Your skin tone and color are as unique as your personality, and there are certain color combos that look best on you. The appearance of your skin is made up of a unique combination of varied undertones, colors and shades. You're probably aware already of your skin's shade being darker or lighter, which comes from the levels of pigment called melanin in your skin. What's less obvious, but even more important when it comes to rocking your wardrobe, is your undertones. Undertones are the colors that show through from deep under the layers of your skin. They have nothing to do with how light or dark your skin color is, but they affect the overall hue of your complexion, which is what can affect how certain clothing colors enhance your natural beauty or wash you out.  Warmer skin types skew more yellow, bronze and golden, while skin types with cooler undertones skew more blue, pink and silver.
Depending on your unique skin type, certain shades will bring out your natural glow. No two people look exactly alike, so your wardrobe should reflect that!

Thinking about revamping your wardrobe to best complement your natural beauty? Before you do, save time and hassle by taking this quiz to find out which three colors actually look best on you.
