About This Quiz

The Victorian Era was all about change in what is now known as the United Kingdom. Under Queen Victoria's rule—yes, the era's namesake—the people of the British Empire saw changes in politics, religion, culture and science. Did you know that Queen Victoria's reign was the longest out of all of those who ruled before her? No wonder she made such a lasting impression. But the Victorian Era wasn't just about Queen Victoria. With all of that change brought out a lot of success in a lot of people, including women.

This was a time when women were waking up and realizing that the conditions they've been living and working in didn't live up to the standards they wanted for themselves. So what did they do? They worked hard to make change, and change they made. There were those who fought for women's rights to vote and go to college. Then there were the women who worked to make hospital conditions better, as well as prison conditions. There were authors, scientists and humanitarians all taking the opportunities the Victorian Era had to offer. These women influenced so much of what we know and paved the way for us. Which brave Victorian lady embodies your personality? Take this quiz to find out!
