About This Quiz
Car brands jealously guard their reputations. Audi drinks deeply of its reputation, established in the 1970s with its Audi Quattro rally car, for having "the best" four wheel drive system. Mercedes-Benz leans heavily on its rep as a master of luxury. Chevrolet demands that it makes cars and trucks for the working man, despite having some models that cost north of $60,000. Each of these brands gets its daily bread from a belief that their products are significantly different from all others, even though many of them (I'm looking at you, Mercedes, BMW, and Audi) all make essentially the same product. Some brands have stellar reputations despite the fact that they are merely rebadged cheap cars with fancy leather inside, and a price sticker double the cheap version's price.
How do you react when you hear certain brand names? Do you feel good or bad? Does a specific word come to mind? Would you avoid a brand altogether because of its reputation, or would you be willing to take the plunge on specific models because you think the risk is worth it? Think fast, because that's what this quiz is all about. You tell us how you feel about specific brands in specific ways, and we'll tell you what classic car represents all you dream of. Then you can go out and buy one, if you can afford it.
